ABOUT LINDSAY

A DREAM SYNOPSIS:

Each piece in my collection of paintings capture a fleeting moment of my subconscious daydreams. These dreams are a reflection of time spent living in Southern California and exploring my favorite places in the Eastern Sierra Mountains, Joshua Tree, Mexico, Central America and the coastline along the Pacific Ocean. This beautiful and sacred earth and the flow and movement of the human body through nature constantly inspire me. I believe the mind, body and soul thrive best when surrounded by earths elements. These pieces are intended to be a catalyst towards inner exploration, opening dialogue within the viewer of their own subconscious daydreams from time spent moving through the realms of nature and all of its spirit and energy.

I am a painter, surfer, dreamer, traveler and music + food enthusiast. I was born and raised in Omaha, NE and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from University of Nebraska - Lincoln. I have been living in Los Angeles for over a decade and spent a few months backpacking through southeast Asia on the search for new inspiration. After a successful first solo exhibition in 2017 I have spent time exploring new ideas while continuing to work on a body of paintings with focus on the female figure and her relationship to this world.
